March Madness Bracket Competition
Can you guess how this March Madness will play out? Come give it your best shot this year at Uptown Taproom with our March Madness Bracket and possibly win prizes.
It is only $5 cash to fill out your bracket. You can go up to our bartender who will collect your name and email to contact you with updates and notify you if you win!
Once you fill out your bracket, we will put it up on our wall with a fun nickname!
You have until Wednesday, March 20th, to fill out your bracket. We will not be accepting any more participants once the bar closes on Monday. We highly encourage you to fill them out at the bar on Sunday and Monday!
We’ll be scoring brackets using the same point system that CBS and the NCAA use.
- First place winner: free growler + $40 gift card
- Second place winner: free howler + $25 gift card
- Third place: $25 gift card
There will also be some surprise give aways that range from free beer to free appetizers to anyone who fills out a bracket and watches the games with us!
Comedy Open Mic
Join us on Mondays for our comedy open mic night! From 7pm to 9pm, our event space will be turned into a space to practice your comedy material with fellow comics! No admission fees, just some fun with friends.
Weekly Deals
Our Fish and Chips are leaving in two weeks! We only serve it on Fridays, so come by and grab some while we still have it!
Burger Mondays: Treat yourself to our delicious smash burgers, a side of your choice and any beer, all for just $15! The list of sides include fries, truffle fries, caesar salad, and our house salad.
Taco Tuesdays: Try any three tacos of your preference for only $10! Mix and match to your heart’s content or grab a few for your table.
Live Music
What would spring-time in Chicago be without its lively music scene? Every Wednesday, we have free live music played by Greg Garing in our event space! His talents in jazz and bluegrass will start at 7pm on Wednesday, March 20th.
Glitterus Comedy
This Friday, March 22nd, Glitterus comedy is at Uptown Taproom! Tickets for this uproarious night of laughs are only $10. The doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm, plenty of time to grab a drink and enjoy the show.

This location of the Neighborhood Taprooms has two outdoor patios and an indoor event space, any and all of which can be rented! Whether you want to have a brunch party or an evening event, you can reach out to us to use one of our spaces.
