A Dog-Owner’s Deal for National Puppy Day
This Wednesday is a twofer, as we add tail-wagging to Taproom Trivia in honor of National Puppy Day.
Any humans who bring a 4-legged friend in anytime on puppy day get 1/2 off their first beer! And yes, of course we’ll throw in some treats for fido as well. All species win!
We love you and all, but for real, we can’t wait to see those puppies.
Taproom Trivia
Hope those pups bring out your bright side, because Wednesday is also Trivia Night, starting at 7 pm. Get your game on with your teammates and see if your knowledge stands up to the test.
We’ll have draft specials all night long, and we’re featuring trivia from Whaddayaknow, Chicago’s best pub trivia game.

Open Mic Night with Nick Wilkinson
Ready to show off your talent? We’ve got you covered.
Nick Wilkinson rocked our open mic shindig last time around, so he’s hosting another here on Thursday the 24th. Grab your friends, tune up your instruments (voices included), and come takeover the mic.
Sign-ups begin at 6 pm, and music will run from 7 – 9 pm. Can’t wait to see you in the spotlight!
Empirical Bingo Night
This Friday, join us at the Lakeview Taproom from 6:30 – 8:30 pm for a bingo night like no other. Grab your friends, get your game on, and try out one of the delicious Empirical brews we have on tap while you’re here. May we suggest:
Adamanti-Yum
This New England IPA is brewed with Citra and Galaxy hops.
Lumen
This unfiltered lager is a clean-finishing, ultra-light response to the growing popularity of craft lagers. Made with Pilsner malt and flaked corn, it’s an unfiltered, premium version of the style arguably most synonymous with the word “beer.” (One of our favorite words.) This is a charismatic and crisp take on a classic, and it’s sure to satisfy even the most casual of palates. A break from the hops, it is beautifully light and easy drinking.
Singularity
Singularity Oatmeal Stout compresses a massive amount of oats into a sessionable stout recipe. Featuring both raw and malted oats, Singularity possesses an immensely full body and mouthfeel. Rich, roasty flavors of coffee and cocoa linger on the palate while a frothy, tan head blankets the beer down to the last sip.
Brushes and Brews
We’re toasting March with the painting of a beautiful, cool design during Brushes and Brews.
Join us to sip on delicious hyper-local brews and take home a masterpiece of your very own. The next Brushes and Brews takes place on Saturday from 4 – 6 p.m. Tickets are $30 each with advance sign-up, and painting supplies are provided. Spots are limited, so sign up in advance by filling out the form below. After you do, Jaime of Jaime Elaine Designs will reply & get you setup.
